Day 4: You’re Not Too Much — You’re Designed for This

 

Theme: Your multi-dimensional calling is not a flaw — it’s God’s design.

 

Devotion:

 

Somewhere along the way, you may have been told — or at least made to feel — that you’re too much.  Too driven. Too passionate. Too opinionated. Too emotional.  Too spiritual. Too loud. Too soft. Too ambitious. Too tender.  Like you needed to shrink, tone it down, or choose one lane to be accepted.

 

But here’s the truth: you were never meant to be simple or small.  You were designed with depth.  With dimension.  With a divine mix of strength and sensitivity, leadership and nurture, fire and grace.

 

Your ability to multitask between boardrooms and bedtime stories or late-night talks with your teens, team strategy and tender prayers, spreadsheets and date nights — it’s not a flaw.  It’s evidence of God’s intentional craftsmanship.

 

Ephesians 2:10 says you are His workmanship — His poema. A divine poem. A masterpiece made with purpose.

 

So don’t apologize for being multifaceted.  Don’t minimize your calling to make someone else feel more comfortable.  God isn’t overwhelmed by your capacity because He created it.  Your boldness doesn’t cancel out your gentleness. Your dreams don’t erase your devotion. Your leadership doesn’t disqualify your tenderness.

 

You don’t need to dilute who you are…. you need to surrender all of who you are to the One who formed you.  Because in His hands, your multi-dimensional life becomes a multi-impactful calling.

 

When you live fully as yourself…. led by His Spirit …. you give other women permission to do the same.  Not perfect. Not performing. But whole.

 

So today, instead of asking, “Am I too much?”

Ask, “God, how do You want to use everything You put in me?”  And then…. BOLDLY WALK IN IT!

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”

 

Prayer:

Father, thank You for making me complex, creative, and capable.  I lay down the pressure to be less than I am or to hide what You’ve placed inside of me.  Teach me to walk confidently in every part of who you created me to be…. not with pride, but with surrendered boldness.  I choose to stop shrinking and start showing up in the fullness of who You created me to be.

 

Journal:

What part of me have I been downplaying to fit in or to avoid criticism?

How is God inviting me to own and embrace that part of myself today…. not for my glory, but for His?

 

I AM Affirmation:

 

I am not too much …. I am God’s intentional design.

I am created with purpose, strength, and beauty.

I am both visionary and nurturer, both fierce and tender.

I am fully equipped for every role I’ve been entrusted with.

I am not here to shrink…. I am here to shine with humility and confidence.

I am God’s workmanship…. created for purpose and beauty in every area of my life.

I am walking in the fullness of who I am, and I make no apologies for it.
